Greg Stafford retires as head womenɫəs golf coach after 16 season

Greg Stafford, Hope Collegeɫəs longest-tenured womenɫəs golf coach and one of the programɫəs most successful, is retiring after 16 seasons. He leaves a legacy of excellence on the course and transforming student-athlete lives, Director of Athletics Tim Schoonveld said.

Vespers 2024 Photo Gallery

The Vespers program of Christmas carols and anthems was presented by the collegeɫəs Department of Music and featured more than 200 performers in historic Dimnent Memorial Chapel. The services featured a variety of Hope instrumental and vocal groups as well as the collegeɫəs historic Skinner organ.

Retired Biology Professor Allen Brady Dies

Dr. Allen Brady of Holland, Michigan, who retired as a professor emeritus of biology in 2000 after more than three decades on the Hope faculty, died on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024. He was 91.

Big Read Lakeshore Featuring ɫɜDreamersɫɝ Author Yuyi Morales Nov. 13-14

Author Yuyi Morales, whose New York Times-bestseller picture-book memoir ɫɜDreamersɫɝ is the focus of this yearɫəs Little Read Lakeshore organized by Hope College, will discuss her career in writing and illustrating childrenɫəs books, her heritage, and the importance of fostering bilingual children during keynote presentations in both Holland and Muskegon on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 13 and 14.

The Hope College Department of Theatre will present William Shakespeareɫəs ɫɜMuch Ado ɫ Nothingɫɝ on Friday-Saturday, Nov. 15-16, and Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 21-23, at 7:30 p.m. along with a free 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Nov. 17. All performances will be in the DeWitt Center main theatre.
