The Hope College Orchestra will perform with the student winners of the college亚洲色吧檚 annual Concerto-Aria Competition on Friday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The winners of this year's competition who will be featured are: William Lamm (timpani) performing 亚洲色吧淗orse Ride,亚洲色吧 from Ney Rosauro亚洲色吧檚 亚洲色吧淐oncerto for Timpani and Full Orchestra亚洲色吧; Mallory Neebes (clarinet) performing Gioachino Rossini亚洲色吧檚 亚洲色吧淚ntroduction and Theme with Variations亚洲色吧; and Kellen Woolhiser (piano) performing George Gershwin亚洲色吧檚 亚洲色吧淩hapsody in Blue.亚洲色吧

In addition, the orchestra will perform 亚洲色吧淥 Magnum Mysterium,亚洲色吧 by Morten Lauridsen and orchestrated by Samuel Pang.

The orchestra is directed by Samuel Pang, who is an assistant professor of music instruction and the director of orchestras at Hope College. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Pang is a conductor, violist, educator and worship music coordinator. He holds a Master of Music degree, a Bachelor of Music degree, and a Performer亚洲色吧檚 Certificate from the Eastman School of Music. He is currently an off-campus Master of Arts in Theological Studies student at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
