The exhibition will continue through Friday, Feb. 7.  Admission is free.

Lindley is department chair and associate professor of art at Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo. She studied art at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, receiving her BFA in 1996. She earned her MFA from the University of Washington.

She describes her exhibit as being 亚洲色吧済enerated in response to the pull of place, a desire to understand the landscape of my surroundings and that which is concealed beneath the surface.亚洲色吧�

The exhibit is comprised of a series of sculptures based on the sediment, floodplains, and paper mill industry along the Kalamazoo River.

Lindley, who resides in Plainwell, spent two summers in Kohler, Wis., as a John Michael Kohler Arts and Industry Resident. Her past exhibitions include 亚洲色吧淩emains: Contemporary Artists and the Material Past亚洲色吧� at the Milwaukee Art Museum; 亚洲色吧淣ext Iconoclasts亚洲色吧� at the Oregon College of Art and Craft; 亚洲色吧淣CECA Clay National Biennial亚洲色吧� at the Arizona State University Museum; the 亚洲色吧淐EBIKO World Ceramic Biennale亚洲色吧� in Incheon, South Korea; and 亚洲色吧淗ousing Petronella,亚洲色吧� a solo exhibition at Artspace in Raleigh, N.C.

The De Pree Art Center is located at 160 E. 12th St., on Columbia Avenue, at 12th Street. The gallery is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The facilities are handicapped accessible.
