Physical and Health Education
In partnership with the Hope College Department of Education, we offer KÑÇÖÞÉ«°É“12 physical and health education certification by the State of Michigan.
Hope has many features that distinguish its physical and health education program from others:
- Small class sizes that allow students to receive individualized attention
- Student placement in local classrooms beginning in their first semester of the program
- All of our graduates are certified in Questions, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) and Lifeguarding, and they also receive training in HIV/AIDS.
All Hope College physical and health education majors must complete the education department's course sequence for K-12 certification.
