Our students can take ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop and more. We cover dance history, composition and production.

Dance department students Hope College has been accredited by the National Association of Schools in Dance since 1982 and is one of only a few institutions in the United States where students study ballet, modern, jazz, tap and hip-hop as part of the required curriculum.

Scheduling Tips

When you亚洲色吧檙e scheduling courses, keep in mind that a rehearsal block of studio time is reserved for late afternoons from 3:30亚洲色吧�6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. H2 Dance Co., StrikeTime and the Spring Dance Concert (faculty choreographed) will rehearse during this time. Specific days of rehearsals will be determined by the choreographer in consultation with the dancers.

The intention of this schedule is to clear the evening hours for evening classes, student dance concert rehearsals and other student obligations. During production/performance weeks students should plan to be in the theater during the evening hours.
