We bring in a variety of speakers to campus to talk about things that might not normally be covered in our classes.

When possible, these seminars are recorded and made available to current students and faculty/staff in  (requires 1Hope login).

Russell will present a talk focused on how no-code and traditional coding can work together to empower teams, speed up development, and facilitate flexibility and customization.

October 17ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É” brian TOL, spindance

Brian will give a presentation on Dev Containers, a Visual Studio Code technology that allows developers to interact with a Docker container directly from VS Code, helping teams ensure they are using the same versions of tools.

Tom works for the law firm of McGarry Bair in Grand Rapids. At McGarry Bair, Tom puts his intellect to work in very interesting ways ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É” designing and introducing technologies that speed and manage the firmÑÇÖÞÉ«°É™s work, laying out strategies for developing McGarry Bair offerings, brainstorming new ways to make intellectual property law painless and profitable for our customers.

TomÑÇÖÞÉ«°É™s presentation will talk about how computer science, and technology more broadly, interact with the law.
