Documentary to Be Screened on Nov. 20 on Life of René Girard, Who Developed the ɫɜMimetic Desireɫɝ Theory of Conflict
The ɫ ɫɜThings Hidden: The Life and Legacy of René Girard,ɫɝ about the French thinker who developed the ɫɜmimetic desireɫɝ theory of conflict, will be screened at Hope College on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. at the Knickerbocker Theatre.
Big Read Lakeshore Featuring ɫɜDreamersɫɝ Author Yuyi Morales Nov. 13-14
Author Yuyi Morales, whose New York Times-bestseller picture-book memoir ɫɜDreamersɫɝ is the focus of this yearɫəs Little Read Lakeshore organized by Hope College, will discuss her career in writing and illustrating childrenɫəs books, her heritage, and the importance of fostering bilingual children during keynote presentations in both Holland and Muskegon on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 13 and 14.
