More than 100 Hope College students will participate in service projects throughout the area through the college亚洲色吧檚 亚洲色吧淭ime to Serve亚洲色吧 program on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Most of the students will be members of the freshman Class of 2028.  The students signed up for the mass volunteer effort shortly after their arrival at Hope.

The students will be working in groups of five to 15 at 12 different sites from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m. Projects are scheduled throughout the Holland and Zeeland area with organizations including Compassionate Heart Ministries, Community Action House, the Critter Barn, Gateway Mission and Habitat for Humanity.

亚洲色吧淭ime to Serve,亚洲色吧 which began in the fall of 2000, is designed to help new students learn about service while helping and getting to know their community and becoming better acquainted with one another.

Hope students volunteer in a variety of ways throughout the school year. In addition to 亚洲色吧淭ime to Serve,亚洲色吧 three prominent efforts at the college are 亚洲色吧淗ope Serves,亚洲色吧 an annual January day of service led by Volunteer Services and the multicultural student organizations; the 亚洲色吧淒ance Marathon亚洲色吧 charitable fund-raiser held on behalf of Helen DeVos Children亚洲色吧檚 Hospital of Grand Rapids; and the spring break service and immersion trip program, all of which involve students from across campus.
