The Hope College Symphony Orchestra will perform 亚洲色吧淭he Symphonic Story of Hope亚洲色吧� on Friday, April 19, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
The program includes Hope faculty members Huw Lewis, organ, and Mihai Craioveanu, violin, as guest artists. The program contains a variety of works, including Camille Saint-Saens' 亚洲色吧淥rgan Symphony,亚洲色吧� John Williams亚洲色吧� 亚洲色吧淪chindler亚洲色吧檚 List,亚洲色吧� Johann Sebastian Bach亚洲色吧檚 亚洲色吧淭occata and Fugue,亚洲色吧� Richard Strauss亚洲色吧� 亚洲色吧淎lso Sprach Zarathustra,亚洲色吧� and Sarah Adams亚洲色吧� 亚洲色吧淣earer, My God, To Thee.亚洲色吧�
The orchestra is directed by Samuel Pang, an assistant professor of music instruction and the director of orchestras at Hope College. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Pang is a conductor, violist, educator and worship music coordinator. He holds a Master of Music degree, a Bachelor of Music degree, and a Performer亚洲色吧檚 Certificate from the Eastman School of Music. He is currently an off-campus Master of Arts in Theological Studies student at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
